In my opinion, most issues with horses have developed from a misunderstanding and lack of knowledge.
I believe it is our job to teach our horses how to respond to the world around them, in order for them to find contentment and confidence with us.

This starts with how to understand pressure, do they see it as information or a threat? This will dictate how appropriately they respond to it.
The initial aim is for students to be safe around their horses in any situations. Next we develop the language together so both horse and student are aware of the constant conversation they are already having.
Finally, we refine their skills so it looks effortless.

I help students take what they already know and develop their language skills with their horses on the ground and in the saddle.

For any horse to be successful in our world they need to be prepared.
